So I have almost reached the half- way mark and I have absolutely no complaints. I am absolutely loving eating like this, I just feel so much better. I'm never hungry and actually look forward to the salads and smoothies that I make. I haven't maintained the 3 mile run, but I make sure I am active at least 30 mins a day... even if it's just walking.
I am enjoying so much reading about all the amazing health benefits of eating greens and eating right. It really is amazing how much the food grown in nature is extremely beneficial and healing for our bodies.
I think I will continue to live/eat like this for longer than May, but maybe I won't be so strict on what enters my mouth. I've noticed eating this way definitely makes it harder to have dinner at other people's houses, while everyone eats the main course- meat, potatoes, cooked veggies, bread- I just sit there awkwardly (I'm sure making everyone uncomfortable). But I'll figure it out! :-)
Earlier this week I made my own almond milk from scratch. It was so super easy and so super good. I love it, my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. =)
You should really try living raw too! It is amazing and you WILL feel the results.
