Life thus far

Last week we went to the doctor and saw the final ultra-sound. He said the baby looks very healthy, about 6 pounds. For those who don't know they are having a girl. They are still working on the first name (which will be an American one) but the middle is Lalita which is a renown/respected Thai name meaning beautiful. I had never seen an ultra sound in person before so it was very cool. We have been doing a lot of shopping, getting stuff for the baby, and driving around looking for houses to rent. I wish I had more money saved so I could help them buy a house. Nice, large houses here sell for about $125,000.... can you believe it? All the nice ones are for sell but not for rent, so still no luck. We just talked to one of the English teachers though and she said that another teacher owns a lot of houses and rents them out. She has about 10 now, so maybe she has one we could rent. If I knew Thai I could see myself staying here a while, but I can see myself in a lot of places. For those who know me I am very easy going and pretty content with anything; therefore it makes it hard to know where exactly I should be.

The other day we drove to the beach/ocean (not really a beach). It is about 15 min. from my brothers. It was mainly a fishing port.

Afterward we went and got some ice cream at Swensen's- it was funny to see one here, that was my mom's first job when she was 16.

Your mom looks so good. It's like she hasn't aged since I saw her last...I don't even remember how long ago that was. Ten years ago, maybe? Maybe more...
